Noble Plastics is a custom injection molder of
performance plastic parts in Lafayette, Louisiana. President Missy Rogers and her husband Scott, both professional mechanical engineers, incorporated the company in
October of 2000.
Missy Rogers knew from years of field experience
that there was a market for custom injection molders in the south. Having decided to make the plunge and go into business for herself, Rogers gave serious thought about
what business values and ethics were important to her and ultimately her company. Rogers wanted to provide a service of outstanding quality, which was priced fair and
honest, and to provide a work atmosphere that was supportive and enjoyable. All in all she wanted her business to hold and aim for high ideals, hence the name Noble
Plastics.
When Noble first opened its doors, Rogers was the
sole employee with one machine, a brand new Van Dorn 80-ton vertical injection-molding machine. She went full-force into her business, and it rapidly took off! Housed
in a 14,000 square foot facility, which includes offices, two warehouses, and a climate controlled manufacturing and assembly area, Noble Plastics has steadily grown
over the past two years. By the end of the second year of operation Noble added three more new injection molding machines, expanding capacity from 40 to 330 US tons,
and was running two shifts a day. At the beginning of 2003 Noble added pad-printing services to meet the increasing client needs. The company’s revenue has doubled
every year!
Noble Plastics currently has clients ranging from
California to Louisiana. Using highly advanced technology such as MoldFlow Software, which allows prediction of manufacturing process so that part and mold designs are
optimized, Noble Plastics has been able to stay ahead of the competition and keep its clients satisfied and coming back for business. Noble specializes in insert and
injection molding, producing high volume performance plastics parts using engineered and commodity resins. With business beginning in the oilfield industry, Noble has
penetrated other markets to include medical, consumer products, industrial, and sporting goods. Often working with inventors who have only a product concept, Noble’s
staff is involved in all aspects of development from product design, prototyping, sourcing, tooling, analysis, production, assembly and distribution. |
