Process Development Every product that is produced is done so by a defined process. How well the process is designed and executed determines the product cost, quality and production capacity. The process design process actually should begin with the conceptual design and be refined throughout the product development process. However, the refinement and solidification of the process occurs after the tooling is procured and actual production commencement. In reality, refinement of the process should be an ongoing effort following the advancement of technology and product knowledge. The overall manufacturing process will include sub-processes such as the following:
Process requirements may include well defined limits for parameters such as cost and dimensionality. Noble employs scientific methods for determining what process variables should be and how well a given process will provide the desired product.
